Web GUI Developer Jobs in San Jose, California
The team is responsible for an internal product development, including new configuration UI screens and wizards, data monitoring and alerting screens, with compelling User Experience (UE), high scalability, performance, openness/extensibility and quality.
Role & Responsibilities:
· The candidate will play a key role as UI engineer developing in JavaScript/CSS/HTML5/AJAX (JQuery/Dojo) for the product.
· This position includes extensive collaboration with multiple teams and works cross functionally on Agile Scrum Teams with PO, PM, DE, QA, etc.
· Position will be largely self-managed and your passion and drive will receive recognition.
· The role works closely with end users, development engineers, and product owners to influence and drive requirements to completion.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Expert level experience in web development using Java/CSS/HTML/AJAX (JQuery/Dojo).
· Good experience of using and/or designing RESTful APIs
· Good experience of working with mySQL (or Oracle)
· 5+ years of web software engineering experience.
· Passionate about UX, can drive requirements to delivery with minimal supervision.
· Strong experience with Python
· Strong in software design, object-oriented programming, design patterns, data structures and algorithms
· Experience with XML and schema
· Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent team player with strong collaboration skills.
