Primary Responsibilities:

• Research, evaluate, identify alternative approaches to support QA needs

• Recommend efficient testing strategy for challenging problems for medium to large work efforts of medium to high complexity

• Comply with standards and guidelines related to testing activities within the Delivery Management environments

• Demonstrate collaborative skills working within a project team of diverse skills

• Bring strong communication skills including oral, written and presentation skills plus creativity, and problem solving skills to a challenging environment

• Provide Demos to Product owners.

• Prepare test cases and execute test cases.

• Act as a Project QA Lead with one or more Testers

• Provide over sight to multiple QA initiatives.

• Provide guidance and direction to less-seasoned staff

Required Qualifications:

• Over all 7+ years of testing experience in Quality Assurance initiatives.

• 2+ years of experience in Testing applications developed using technologies - Hbase, Hive,  Hadoop, Java, Mapreduce

• 7 years of experience in testing application Domains including  Data processing or Data management or Data Warehousing

• 7 years of experience in several testing methodologies includes automated testing, Integration testing, Regression testing, performance testing, prepare test cases, execute test cases.

• Have very good communication, act as Team Player, should be  self-driven and willing to take ownership, Worked in Agile & tools such as Rally

• 3+ years of experience in testing high volume Java, J2EE & Database applications

• Validate code meeting 100 percent of Product requirements

• Thorough understanding of technological infrastructure and how it relates to projects

• Experience with any SSH client

• Highly experience with complex shell scripting using Unix, PERL & Python

• Strong knowledge in SQL languages.

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) is required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Big Data Technologies like Splunk, Elastic Search, PIG, Spark, Sqoop

• MapR distribution 

• UnitedHealth Group experience

• Healthcare domain background

• Knowledge with HIE formats 837 i&p, HL7/ADT
